Members tend to be leaders in the fields of politics, entertainment, sport, fashion and international business, and yet remain deeply committed to help each other and promote causes such as the freedom of sexual and intellectual expression throughout the world.

For those accepted in this society, we host glittering, unashamedly extravagant and sexually charged events across the world. Our events are strictly not for profit, and member contributions, the Oboloi, merely cover the society's costs.

The Republic is élite yet not élitist, exclusive yet inclusive, and a place where wit, intelligence, beauty, health, sexual pleasure and personal success are celebrated and not hidden. It is also real, having already secured land on a renowned vacation island for future use.
